Indigo Children

***Many of these children are being diagnosed with ADD, ADHD, BI-POLAR DISORDER, OPPOSITIONAL DEFIENT DISORDER, and many other MENTAL ILLNESS.***

This new consciousness of children are having a difficult time being understood and therefore properly cared for and this has created a CRISIS on our planet.

They may get sick often, skin sensitivities, diet sensitivities etc… when they are “out of balance” or “out of sync”. They dispise being manipulated, tricked or parented cunningly and sly. They see through all these methods.

They are often diagnosed with ADD and ADHD. They are their own highest source of wisdom and strength. They may appear egotistical due to this confidence and knowing. They have a great big purpose rolled up in a tiny little body. They don’t see “age” as a measure of “more knowledge”, they feel equal and just as important and valued.

Growing up like this for me was full of suffering and pain but the message I would often “hear” is “your gift is your burden” (often my grandmother would say similiar messages to me also). She had that “knowing” look but said very little. She was a great source of comfort and love for me growing up. I also “sensed” this would not be a burden forever. I would one day “understand” this all and it would make sense. I trusted in this process and sailed on through all the ups and downs that life presented me with. I would always pick myself up and brush myself off and often say, Wow that was pretty crazy, sometimes not knowing if I had the strength to get through some of it, but I always did, I wasn’t alone. I could even sense when something “big” was going to happen and I would “prepare” myself asking God for the strength to get through it. I always knew “if he leads you to it, he would lead you through it.” Then I would say to God, NEXT..

It would have been easier if I was “understood” and “seen” and that is part of my purpose, to assist parents of these children to “see them” and “love them unconditionally”. Parents are a big part of their SUCCESS and THRIVING on their journey here. Let’s help provide these children with the proper food, learning environment, home environment and opportunities that will support them and assist them on their way.

Indigo Teens

My name is Michelle LeRoy, I was born in 1972 and in the year 2006 I discovered information that would change my life forever. I realized that I was born and INDIGO and from that day on I dedicated my life to finding out more information to both assist me in understanding myself and explaining things about my childhood I could not explain. I have done a lot of research and attended countless workshops and online seminars on Indigo Children. I have decided to make it part of my life’s work to support Indigo Teens who in my mind at this time seem to be in CRISIS, depressed, feeling powerless, misunderstood and unloved.

“Indigo Children are bright, intuitive, strong-willed, and sometimes self-destructive individuals. They are often labeled (and misdiagnosed) as having ADD or ADHD because they won’t comply with established rules and patterns, and they may exhibit behavioural problems at home and in school.” – Doreen Virtue from the book “THE CARE AND FEEDING OF INDIGO CHILDREN”.

Other great books are INDIGO CHILDREN – The New Kids Have Arrived, INDIGO CELEBRATION and INDIGO TEENS – 10 Years Later – all these books by Jan Tober and Lee Carroll.

How can you tell if you are an Indigo? A good way to “test” yourself is to answer the following:

Are you always searching for your greater purpose in life but feel like the world isn’t set up for your kind?

  • Do you sometimes feel wise beyond your years?
  • Do you have trouble conforming to the ways of society?
  • Do you feel out of place in today’s world?
  • Do you perceive the world very differently than most people around you?
  • Do you have strong intuition about certain things that most others do not?
  • Do you often feel misunderstood when you try to talk to people about what’s real?
  • Are you a truth seeker?
  • Do you feel like you were born to accomplish a special mission in life?
  • Do you feel isolated and alone in your beliefs?
  • Misunderstood by family?
  • Do you feel anti-social unless you are with people of like mind?
  • Are you emotionally sensitive?
  • Did you have a difficult and challenging childhood?
  • Do you often feel disempowered by too much authority?

If you can answer YES to these questions, then you are most likely an INDIGO. I am here to provide a group format for Indigo Teens to FREELY EXPRESS THEMSELVES in a loving, non-judgmental setting to help support your well-being and provide you with information so that you can realize your true purpose and potential. To help you no longer feel like you are floundering around anymore and hopefully help you awaken and realize your potential and purpose as soon as possible.

I hope to provide you with tools to regain your self-esteem, curb your anger and frustration and learn to listen more closely to yourINNER VOICE (the future is within you). AT THIS TIME IN HUMANITY THE WORLD NEEDS INDIGOS TO HEAL AND FULFILL THEIR PURPOSE. I also hope to bridge the gap of misunderstanding and confusion with your parents into love and understanding.

Indigo Adults

It has been documented that people born prior to 1978 with Indigo Traits are now our INDIGO ADULTS. It is further noted that during the 1970s Indigos were only coming in the thousands and prior to that less statistics are available due to the lack of understand and information that is available now but not back then. Indigo Adults have also been given other classifications such as Scouts, Forerunners and/or Phase One Indigos.

These adults are only being discovered now and uncovering Who They Truly Are because of the abundance of information available Now on Indigo Teens and Children. This information resonated highly with some adults and caused them to research further. Indigo Adults were our early system busters and warriors. They are highly sensitive and highly intuitive.

They may remember a childhood of feeling different, maybe felt like an outcast or the black sheep of their own family.

They remember a childhood where they viewed the world and its ideals and logics far differently than most and but it took awhile for them to discover everyone else was not seeing with their eyes.

They have strong leadership qualities and tend to be either very outspoken and angry or alternatively learned to internalize this anger. Their in-born lie detector was a gift but for most also experienced as a curse or burden. When I have spoken to Indigo Adults they shared the same feeling I did, sometimes they wish I did not know what they knew or felt what they could feel. They were highly sensitive and seemed to be tuned into a higher frequency of Truth. At times they thought it would have been easier to go through life a little less connected. To be able to know others thoughts, feelings and truths before they themselves were able to come to terms and accept this knowing seemed a big burden and responsibility at times.

To be able to sense a lack of integrity amongst the adults and many authority figures in their lives was intensely frustrating and at times caused great rage. This often caused them to constantly challenge authority figures such as parents, teachers etc…
As children Indigo Adults were free thinkers, free spirits, thinking outside the box, always wanted to know Why? What is the purpose? Indigos have a strong need to find out the purpose of what they are doing and if that does not feed their soul or make sense to them they often rebelled and outright refused!

These Early Indigos described their experience growing up as being dropped here from another planet and wanting to know when they could go back home. They often tried their best to conform in order to fit in as to not suffer externally in their lives but then soon realized that the internal suffering was far greater than anything they could have to deal with on the outer level when they were not living authentically and in truth. Indigo Adults may have used drugs and alcohol and other self-destructive behaviors to manage their gifts and sensitivities, numbing their inner voices and to help dilute their knowing/frequency. This also helped them fit in and not feel completely insane or weird.
Indigo Adult experience constantly being misunderstood, misjudged, called uncontrollable and defiant. They usually ended up feeling ashamed of themselves, like something was wrong with them, something not right, something was broken. Why couldn’t they just cope with this world like everyone else did. They may have even taken this confusion and anger further into eating disorders and cutting to distract from the pain inside.

They were right brained people in a dominantly left brain world. They are highly creative and artistic. They are our singers, dancers, painters, writers and poets. For me personally, I described my dancing career growing up as my saving grace.

Dance classes was a place where I felt the most like myself. A place I could express the beauty, peace, love and freedom I so desperately desired in other areas of my life.

Indigo Adults described themselves as feeling wise beyond their years and was even told this from time to time by others.

Their biggest struggle was finding others who felt the same way and operated in this Truth. The fact of the matter is Indigo Adults are said to have chosen their family. More often then not choosing families that would be a great challenge from them.

Families that would cause them to become independent fairly early in life and that would force them to find the tools to look after themselves. At the time this would not have made sense but looking back and talking to many Indigo Adults this was the ideal situation for them to experience what was necessary for their personal growth and evolution back to their own remembering. Much experience and wisdom was gained to help them along the way. Their struggles and hardships became their greatest gifts.

Indigo Adults were here to pave the way and be parents for the large wave of the Phase Two Indigo Generation. This generation is said to have come in millions. These are now our Indigo Teens and Young Adults born 1978-1995. These Phase Two Indigos are more often than not, born to the Scouts and Forerunners. Part of their mission to is help their parents remember Who They Truly Are and support them in accepting and turning their gifts back on. I can personally attest to this because of an experience I had when my first child was born in 1993 (she is now almost 16 at the time of this writing). The first thing that went through my mind when she was born was she is sent to save me. I didn’t understand this feeling and it took me approx. 14 years to truly understand what this meant but today, I can truly say, it all makes sense. My personal message to Indigo Adults:

Right now at this time in humanity the world needs us more than ever! It needs our leadership, fearlessness, warrior spirit, our courage, bravery and integrity. At the same time it needs our compassion, unconditional love and most of all OUR COMMITMENT TO TRUTH AND OUR OWN HEALING in order to unlock our FULL POTENTIAL. We are the forerunners our purpose is to pave the way. Our children and our planet are depending on us to remember our purpose and fulfill it. We are here to serve the Whole not ourselves. If not Now, then when? Are you ready? I am ready!
